"I recently observed the staff in the dining area. Everyone was pleasant, laughing, patient and tender. These people deserve praise."
Opened in 1999, Woodland Haven’s custom living environment includes two 14-bed homes, each with its own kitchen, activity space, dining room and living room. Meals are provided family style and families are encouraged to visit and eat meals with their loved one.
An interdisciplinary team meets with residents and family members regularly, ensuring that Woodland Haven can continue to meet their needs. When a resident can no longer live in Woodland Haven, our team will work closely with family members to provide a smooth transition to another area in the Houghton County Medical Care Facility.
