Nursing Services
Houghton County Medical Care has a long history of providing high quality nursing care. Our licensed nursing staff, along with our team of certified nursing assistants, provides 24-hour care in a clean, pleasant, well-decorated atmosphere. Our nursing assistants are trained on-site and our licensed staff is specialized and knowledgeable in all aspects of long-term care.
We pride ourselves in having a commitment to quality care. Nursing services, including medication administration and documentation of information, is all performed in compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
The nursing staff works as part of each resident’s health care team, including our on-staff rehabilitation service professionals and off-site physicians and other care providers. Whatever the needs may be, our nurses take a caring, compassionate approach, working to assure that the resident is given the best care possible.
