Skilled Therapy Services
The Short-term rehab unit at HCMCF provides rehabilitative healing and recovery in a compassionate environment that is nurturing and welcoming to all. Our diverse team of experts include physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, nurses, certified nursing assistants. occupational therapists, occupational therapist assistants and speech language pathologists. maximizing each patient's overall functional independence and recovery.
Our therapists are experienced to treat a wide variety of conditions such as:
Orthopedic (including hip and knee joint replacements and fractures)
Neurological and neuromuscular disorders including CVA (stroke)
Treatment of swallowing disorders
Deconditioning from acute or prolonged illness
Daily therapy, including weekends
Individualized treatment planning and flexible treatment schedules
Adaptive equipment recommendations
Discharge Planning prior to returning to home
Family and caregiver education
We will be making flower arrangements with flowers for the local business The Flower Shop on Monday, June 24.
Father's Day Lunch
We will have a special Father's Day Lunch on June 16. One free meal for family and an additional meal at $5.50. Sign up and pay at the front office by Friday, June 14th.
We will be going to the car show that is sponsored by Bridgefest on June 15.
We plan to be in the Bridgefest Parade on June 14. We need volunteers to walk with us and help pass out candy.
Green Thumb Club June 13
Residents will work on our gardens outside. If the weather is bad, we will work on plants inside.
